What is different about my classes?

  • Classes are mostly limited to 8 participants or under.
  • I closely monitor the exercise technique of everyone who joins my classes.
  • All exercises taught can be modified depending on age, skill level and physical ability.
  • I encourage Mindfulness as a tool for body awareness throughout class.

A balanced class using hand weights, therabands, body weight, aerobics, stretching and relaxation exercises.

  • If you’ve lost strength, you can gain it.
  • If your energy has sagged, you can raise it.
  • If you’ve lost muscle and gained fat, you can reverse it.

Classes are conducted in my loungeroom showing you how easy it is to set up your own exercise routine at home using minimal equipment.

Somatic Exercises (LINK to youtube video) can be described as Mindfulness of the body. It consists of a series of exercises done on the floor that reawaken the mind’s control of movement and flexibility. Suitable for people with backpain and chronic health conditions. Excellent for people with niggly pains caused by their exercise regime.

Pilates is a series of flowing exercises that aim to develop more awareness and control of core muscles which create more ease and better function of the muscles of the body. I have modified many of the Pilates exercises making them easier on the neck and more pelvic floor friendly.
